I picked up a camera many years ago and haven’t put it down since. I briefly worked as a professional photographer but decided I preferred to shoot for myself rather than at the whim of others. Several years ago, this old film shooter embraced the digital age, and I haven’t looked back since.
In 2025, I began a new project: scanning my slides, negatives and prints from the late 1970s to early 2000s into a digital format. This process is slow, but I will document my progress here, adding a new facet to my journey!
My work is dedicated to my mother, who was my mentor and continues to be my inspiration. My goal is to achieve the same level of photographic excellence that she has, though I doubt I ever will!
