This post is part of an ongoing project: scanning my old slides, prints, and negatives (late 1970’s to 2004) to digital.

In 1979, when she was a bit younger, her project was to make an Easter basket.

The images were originally shot in black and white. The monochrome negatives were scanned to digital format on 4/1/26 and subsequently “colorized.”

Click the link below the pictures to view both monochrome and color versions. She looks beautiful in every one!

Ta-daaaa!

A young girl smiles while holding a colorful basket filled with grass and Easter eggs, alongside a doll and a backdrop of a sunny scene with a tree and a cloud.

Of course, if the project made you hungry, you can always take a bite of the results.

Happy Easter!

‘Hope your day’s full of good food, good company, and maybe a little too much candy. Enjoy it!
