This post is part of an ongoing project: scanning my old slides, prints, and negatives (late 1970’s to 2004) to digital.
Some “off-the-beaten-path” images from a completely non-political trip to Washington DC in the 2nd half of 1983. OK, the last three are of a very popular place. It is still one of my favorite memorials in the city.
When scanning the slide, I noticed an uncanny resemblance. It looked like the opening scroll for some fairly successful sci-fi movies. “A long time ago in a a galaxy far, far away.”
