This post is part of an ongoing project: scanning my old slides, prints, and negatives (late 1970’s to 2004) to digital.
Backstory
In the late 70’s and into the 80’s, I shot a lot of black and white, using my own darkroom to process and print images. All of these were taken with a medium format Mamiya 645 camera. This camera used film that was three times the size of standard 35mm film. Most were shot on a tripod. For the photo geeks in the audience, I put my notes under each image.
I am not super pleased with the tech I used to scan the photos. A hunt for better technology will be ongoing.
The images were all taken in North Carolina. They were part of a Photography Art Exhibition I participated in, I think, 1982.
