April 8, 2025, 4:30pm – 7pm, ferry boat crossing from Cedar Island (aka The Mainland), North Carolina to Ocracoke Island. The ferry is the only way to and from Ocracoke.

After an “almost delay”… crisis averted… we boarded the ferry and departed.
